Well-located in the small township of New Berrima, the New Berrima General Store & Post Office caters to residents and visitors throughout the Southern Highlands and beyond.
We offer good old fashioned service with a vast range of goods and products, freshly prepared takeaway food that locals rave about, a post office that is almost always open, a full bottle shop and of course, competitive fuel prices.
As a community focused convenience store that defies its size in every way with nearly everything you could need, we pride ourselves on exceptional customer service.

About Us

In December 2021, after more than three decades in town, Karen's New Berrima General Store & Post Office finally acquired and developed larger premises in Taylor Ave to pack in even more for customers.
Despite serving the local community for so long, many people in Berrima and in surrounding areas throughout the Southern Highlands have no idea this amazing one-stop-shop even exists.
Its great food, grog, cheap fuel, groceries, endless products and a newsagency and lotto outlet all under one roof are why locals keep coming back.
The owners, Karen and Geoff have always been driven to provide the local community with convenience and unsurpassed service.
“Our whole driving force was to give to the community and be a one-stop shop for whatever people need,” Geoff says.
“We find most customers are surprised by the huge variety and quality we manage to pack under one small roof.”

Our focus is on freshly baked and cooked food daily. We really don't think you should have to settle for the pre-packaged sandwiches that most other service stations sell.
In fact, in the early hours of every morning, we visit two renowned local bakeries to stock up fresh bakery items for the day and we make fresh sandwiches on site daily. Our chef ensures our simple and delicious takeaway and dine in food is always top notch too.
